Security and insulation: what a Pulsar entrance door includes
A frame designed for a door, not a window. Our PVC entrance doors are built on Kömmerling profiles with a reinforced 85 mm frame and a 110 mm sash — far sturdier than a window frame — and a 20 mm flush aluminium threshold, with no step, for comfortable access and lasting weather-tightness.
Security as standard, RC2 certified. Every door comes with a 5-point multipoint lock, a security cylinder with owner card, reinforced Elephant 3+1 hinges and a double handle. Together they reach burglar-resistance class RC2. The glazed part is fitted as standard with laminated safety glass: in the event of impact, the glass stays in place.
Insulation that shows on the bill. High-insulation double glazing (Ug 1.0) and a 36 mm insulated solid panel limit heat loss through the entrance, often the weak point of a home. The Ud value of our doors complies with EPB (PEB) energy performance requirements.
Three infills, one standard of quality. Fully glazed for light, solid panel for privacy, or half-panel for both: every version is made to measure and installed by our own team, with installation guaranteed for 10 years.
