What a window quote contains
A window quote is not just a price at the end of a line. It is a document that describes, item by item, what you will receive and what will be done. Here is what ours details.
The measured dimensions
Each opening is identified with its dimensions taken on site, its type of opening and its location in the house.
The profile chosen
The brand and the range, for example Kömmerling in PVC or Aliplast in aluminium, with the Uw value of the complete window. That is the value that counts for your comfort and for grants.
The glazing
Double or triple glazing, standard, laminated safety or acoustic, with its Ug value. Glazing that goes down to the floor is laminated as standard.
Hardware and finishes
Handles, tilt-and-turn, security level, profile colour and interior and exterior finishes.
Installation and removal
The installation method, renovation fit or full removal, and a clear mention of the dismantling and removal of the old windows, with any site access costs.
The VAT applied
The 6% rate for a private home more than ten years old, subject to conditions, or the 21% rate. The rate used appears on the quote, before you order.
How long it takes to receive your quote
After your request, we get back to you within 48h to clarify your project and arrange a visit. The measurements are taken at your home, free of charge.
The detailed quote follows that survey: it sets out the exact dimensions, the system chosen and the options selected. That visit is what makes the price reliable, with no surprises at installation.
Free quote: what that means with us
Free means free: reviewing your request, the home visit and the detailed quote cost you nothing and commit you to nothing. You can compare, think it over, or decide not to go ahead.
The price stated is firm, because it is set after the measurement survey and not on approximate dimensions. Anything that could change it, such as difficult access requiring a lift, is identified during the visit and written on the quote.

A few details are enough for our first reply to be useful. None of them is compulsory: the form only asks for your contact details and the type of project.
The number of openings to replace, even approximate, and their type: windows, entrance door, sliding door, garage door.
The material you have in mind, PVC, aluminium or wood, or a wish to be advised.
The floor and the access: house or flat, lift or not, narrow street or inner courtyard.
Your priority: thermal insulation, noise, security, the look of the façade or budget.
Your timeline, for example before winter or before a grant deadline.
Photos of your current windows, sent by e-mail after the first contact, also help us prepare the visit.

Frequently asked questions about your quote
Is the quote really free?
Yes. Reviewing your request, the home visit for the measurement survey and the detailed quote are free and without obligation. You then decide freely.
Is an on-site survey needed to get a price?
For a firm price, yes. Approximate dimensions are enough for the request, and our online calculator gives an order of magnitude. But the final quote is based on the measurements taken at your home by our team: that is what guarantees an exact price and an installation without surprises.
How long does the quote remain valid?
The quote states its period of validity. Profile and glazing prices change over time; if you decide after that date, we update the quote on request.
Can I get an order of magnitude before the quote?
Yes. Our prices page calculates online the price of a window, French door, front door or sliding door to your dimensions, VAT included, without leaving your details. The quote then sets the firm price after the survey.
Does the quote include installation and removal of the old windows?
The quote prices supply and installation, carried out by our own team, with no subcontracting. The dismantling and removal of the old windows are stated in black and white, as are any site access costs, so that nothing is added afterwards.
What happens after the quote?
You take the time to read it and ask your questions. If you accept it, we launch the made-to-measure manufacturing, which generally takes a few weeks, then we set the installation date with you. Installation takes days, depending on the number of units.
