What makes the price vary
Fixed or opening
A fixed window has no opening mechanism: at equal size, it costs noticeably less than a tilt-and-turn sash. Choose fixed wherever opening is not needed.
Dimensions
The larger a unit, the more profile, glass and reinforcement it needs — the price follows the surface area and the perimeter.
The glazing
Standard double glazing insulates against the cold; laminated glass adds security and acoustic comfort, at a premium that depends on the glazed area.
VAT
When renovating a Belgian home more than ten years old, VAT is 6% instead of 21%. The gap is significant: the calculator applies 6% by default.
An honest estimate — and what it cannot tell you yet
The price shown is an honest estimate, calculated on real configurations. It is a very good order of magnitude. But a firm price means seeing your site — because three things escape it:
Measurements and the state of the opening
Exact dimensions, how true the walls are, the condition of the structure and the type of installation (renovation or new build) cannot be guessed from a screen. An on-site survey settles them.
Access to the site
The estimate does not include hiring a lift where the floor level requires one, nor a crane when a unit has to be installed at the back of the house or on a second façade. Those costs depend entirely on your situation.
Your finishes and your grants
Colour, woodgrain foil, hardware, shutters — and the renovation grants you may be entitled to: all of it we cost and optimise with you, free of charge.

Does the price shown include installation?
Yes. Calculator prices include supply, installation and VAT, and installation is guaranteed for 10 years. They do not cover unusual access costs (hiring a lift or a crane), which depend on your site and are assessed during the free on-site survey.
Why is the price only indicative?
The calculator covers a standard white PVC configuration. The final price depends on your exact measurements, the condition of the opening and any finishes (colour, hardware, shutters). It is fixed after a free measurement survey.
Do you work in materials other than PVC?
Yes, we also fit aluminium and wood. The calculator currently prices white PVC only, the most common choice in renovation. For aluminium or wood, request a quote — we reply quickly.
