The 88 MD is the highest-performing profile in the Kömmerling range. With 88 mm of depth, seven chambers and a three-level centre seal, it aims for the highest thermal comfort: Uf 0.95 W/m²K and passive-house compatibility (ift WA-15/2 directive).
It is designed for triple glazing, up to 58 mm thick (Ug 0.50 W/m²K), to reach a Uw of around 0.75 W/m²K. Its straight, refined lines let in as much light as possible, with the same lead-free PVC and the same finishes as the rest of the range.

Kömmerling profiles can be given proCoverTec, a surface coating that marries looks with robustness. It hugs the profile perfectly, withstands everyday use and has a slightly textured finish that is pleasant to the touch.
Its satin surface holds less dirt, cleans easily and has antibacterial properties. On colour, a wide choice of plain and metallic shades is available, inside and out — you can even choose a different colour on each side: for example a contemporary black on the façade and a bright white inside.

Elegant white
White remains the great classic. On Kömmerling 76 profiles, it benefits from a high-quality PVC that is highly weather-resistant: the smooth, glossy surface keeps its shine over time and cleans in a single wipe.
Plain colours
After some character? Plain-colour foiling opens up a wide choice of shades — from a bright red to an elegant dark grey, by way of a deep blue. Like white, these finishes resist the weather and are very easy to maintain.
Wood-effect
Wood-effect foiling plays both cards: the warmth and character of wood, without its constraints. The profile stays durable PVC — no sanding or repainting to redo, unlike timber joinery.

The Kömmerling 76 brings together the latest PVC frame technologies. Its modular design tailors the window to each project, with slim profiles that let the light in while housing insulating triple glazing — for fast installation and easy replacement of your old windows.
High thermal insulation
Even in the standard version, the Kömmerling 76 shows an excellent insulation figure (Uf from 1.1 to 1.0 W/m²K depending on the profile) — an already high-performing baseline against heat loss.
Stability over time
Clever contact points hold the steel reinforcement firmly in place without creating a thermal bridge. The frame keeps its geometry year after year.
Optimised chambers
The profile chambers are precisely calculated: strong thermal and acoustic insulation, high stability and high load capacity, even with heavy glazing.

The hardware is fixed through several profile walls, with reinforced thickness in the load zones — for a strong, secure window.

Kömmerling 88 MD AluClip
The Kömmerling 88 MD AluClip is your PVC frame clad in aluminium: the look of aluminium and an almost unlimited choice of colours (PVC AluClip), without giving up the advantages of PVC.
Love the qualities of PVC but dream of an aluminium look or an almost unlimited choice of shades? The AluClip dresses the outer face of the profile with a clipped-on aluminium shell: inside, all the comfort of PVC (insulation, easy upkeep); outside, the looks and robustness of aluminium.
Where proCoverTec finishes are limited to a range of shades, the AluClip opens up almost every colour. The aluminium is indeed powder-coated: a powder paint is applied then oven-cured to form a hard, durable, weather-resistant coating — in virtually any RAL shade.

Yes. The 88 MD AluClip uses exactly the same 88 mm passive centre-seal profile, dressed with an aluminium shell clipped on the outside. The performance (Uf 0.95 W/m²K, passive compatibility) is unchanged; only the exterior finish and the choice of colours differ.
Which colours for the 88 MD AluClip?
The exterior aluminium is powder-coated (or anodised), opening up almost every RAL shade — from a brushed stainless look to bright colours — while keeping a warm, maintenance-free white PVC inside.
